Spencer
Delimas.
Software engineer in Nairobi. I build whole products, end to end. Right now that’s Grabbit.
Currently: working towards the AWS Solutions Architect certification, to design and run cloud deployments properly.

How I work
Fast, and careful where it counts.
AI tools, used with judgement
Claude Code every day: it drafts, I direct, review every change and own what ships. Grabbit went from idea to live payments in about a month.
Team habits, even working alone
Branches, pull requests, automated checks and review before anything ships: how engineering teams work.
Careful where money moves
Anything that touches money is tested, and checked before it counts.
If I don’t know it, I find a way
I started with HTML in Form 1 and haven’t stopped since. Most of what’s on this page began as something I didn’t know how to do yet: I learn it, then ship it.
At home on Linux, and with IT
Linux has been my daily system for over two years, with Cisco’s Linux Essentials and IT Essentials behind it, so I can help with the hardware, networks and IT tasks around the code too.
Built for the people using it
Every screen checked on a phone and a laptop, and the words get the same care as the code.

Third year. Graduating late 2027 or early 2028, give or take a strike: Kenyan universities strike most Octobers, so it might as well be a public holiday. I spend those weeks building.
